...or at least is TRYING to.

There is a fun little market that sets up every week downtown in our new city, and I would be just tickled to be a vendor there! With a once-a-week commitment for only a few hours of in-public time, I think it is CERTAINLY something I can manage.

I emailed inquiring as to spaces available at the market and sent off a few links of my work. The contact I heard back from said my work was unique and that I would be the only strict knit/crochet artist at the market. That is, IF my work gets approved.

SO I'm hustling together a little application portfolio in hopes that I will get approved and get to play the crafty little peddler once a week this summer. Here's hoping it works out!!

Ok! Now that we've gotten all the entries we need to start this amazing event to end all events with the best community ever, here's how it'll go down:
Everybody will have to make two squares for each and every one of the other participants, that means that you will make 24 squares in total during this event, and you get to keep noone of them yourself! You will instead recieve 24 squares from all the other ones and make yourself a fantastic afgan out of it made with love and care.

We'll divide it into four parts where we will have 3-4 people up for recieving squares from all the other participants. Each part will have a 3-4 week deadline, but also a week or two with breakes inbetween (maybe even longer) for the squares to be sent in the mail and also as a little extra time to get the last bit of work done.
