But it hurts so good!! All this warm weather makes me want to go buy a bolt of flowery fabric and make all the floofy skirts out of it. It also makes me want to go on walkabout and pick flowers from the ditch. And make muffins.
I've been working on that ever-so-hipst hexagon blanket like a mad woman. I want there to be progress to show if I get into the finals for the scholarship I entered it in. It's slow going, but just typing about it makes me want to go work on it some more. But alas, I have two more lectures to go to today. >.<
On the topic of hipster things, you will never guess what I purchased at the thrift store this weekend. Well...maybe you will. If you have been following me other places, you know that I have obsessively wanted an old Polaroid camera for quite some time now. Well, I finally got one! With my astounding investment of $2, I got a nice, working Polaroid One-Step with three pieces of ruined film in it. Needless to say, I need some film. Sadly is is oober expensive, considering it's not made anymore. So if any of you lovelies happens to have some old Polaroid 600 film lying around, I will gladly pay/crochet something for you in return!
I'm just really in luck when it comes to vintage machines lately! Those two antique sewing machines from the Sailor and now my Polaroid!! I must be blessed. Well, I am blessed. Vury. Vury. Blessed.
I sent off another Narwhal hat yesterday (to Canada!!) but I FORGOT TO TAKE PICTURES!!! It was a really cute one: white with a neon blue horn. Oh well, just imagine it. I also have a few derpy lil AFF (art for fun) drawings I did with some very fun inks I got for my b-day (no for real, I love that Sailor so much) that I will post eventually. If anybody is really dying to see more of my silly arts.
So, how are you all?? Has spring finally sprung where you are living? Been crafty? Tell me!
Affectionately,
CM

WELL HELLO THERE
HI GUYS.
I'M BACK!
Not that I ever really left, oh wait, yes I did.
In the last eight months (EIGHT MONTHS???) since my last update to you guys some amazing stuff has happened. Let me quickly bullet this out for you because it's too lengthy to word full sentence making stuff:
:bulletgreen:I had our darling son, Mr. E. He's cute and healthy and 6 mos old now. WHAT.
:bulletgreen:We moved again! (surprisseeeee surprissseeee)

I have been putting off coming back to DA beca
A Little Bit Settled!
There is not too much settled-ness in my life right now, but I'm happy to report that we made it to our new home without a hitch and are loving being "Out West" so far. :la: I've been quite crafty, and quite without internet (still no wifi at home!), so I don't even know where to begin in regards to updating you all with my doings. I do miss you all dearly, especially as the days go on and my big ol' baby belly lets me do less and less active things. :XD:
Keep an eye here for a few project updates! I did post some random pictures to my blog if you are interested in a brief peek at what our first week looked like here. :meow:
Love you all mu

You and your thriftiness! A gal after my own heart. Who wants to go to a high end store when there are so many treasures hidden away in the tiny, used-items shops?
You must post pictures of this blanket when you finish. It sounds amazing!
